City Parks
Get the kids out of the house and into a swing, a dinosaur, or a castle! Catch up with a friend over lunch with a view at Birkmose Park, or take in the tunes while enjoying the summer heat at Lakefront Park's Concerts in the Park. Hudson has a variety of city parks that provide plenty of options for your next get-together.
County Parks
We’re not just a river city, we’re a river city twice over, plus a lake or two! Visit Homestead Parklands for rentable water activities to enjoy on Perch Lake. Stay tuned for updates on our newest addition, Eckert Blufflands, where you will be able to camp, hike, fish, and explore the St. Croix Riverbanks!
Willow River State Park
Hudson is home to the phenomenal Willow River State Park which is famous for its waterfall. In addition to its falls, visitors can enjoy a variety of trails for hiking, biking and cross-country skiing. There is a swimming beach, boat launch, water activity rentals, and fishing. You can even plan a camping trip!

Saint Croix County Parks offer a great stay with plenty of facilities and fun at Glen Hills Park, a water-based recreation facility with 700 wooded acres surrounding the beautiful 78-acre Glen Lake. With new camper cabins, Glen Hills makes for a great weekend getaway!
Willow River State Park offers a campground on the southern shore of Little Falls Lake. This park is very popular because of the beautiful waterfalls and has one of the highest occupancy rates in the Wisconsin State Park System.
Carpenter Nature Center Wisconsin Campus
Want to learn more about the St. Croix Valley’s ecosystem? The Carpenter Nature Center's new Wisconsin Campus is free and open to the public to enjoy nature and the trails 361 days a year. Featuring a 300-acre natural area with 10 miles of trails, CNC offers numerous programs for schools, community groups, and the general public.
Dog Park
Yes, we have a park just for dogs! The City of Hudson and the Hudson Dog Owners Association have joined efforts to create the Hudson Dog Park.
The Dog Park hours are dawn to dusk each day of the year. The city has provided dog waste bags so you can help keep our park clean.
