St. Croix Off Broadway May 4 WORLD PREMIERE AT ST. CROIX OFF BROADWAY DINNER THEATRE
Join St. Croix Off Broadway Dinner Theatre Fridays and Saturdays March 16 – May 12 for the world premiere of “Righteous! The Story of the Righteous
Brothers,” a musical biography chronicling the Righteous Brothers’ life story. The Righteous Brothers were the musical duo of Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield. They recorded from 1963 through 1975, and continued to perform until Hatfield's death in 2003. The Righteous Brothers galvanized the link between rock and rhythm & blues so convincingly that they spurred the creation of a new term, "blue-eyed soul.”
Bill Medley, the surviving Righteous Brothers, has been working with James A. Zimmerman, co-owner of St. Croix Off Broadway, as well as its artistic director, in Zimmerman’s creation of the script. It will feature such memorable songs as “Unchained Melody,” “Little Latin Lupe Lu,” “Go Ahead and Cry,” “Ebb Tide,” and “Rock and Roll Heaven.”
Dinner is served anytime between 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Hudson House Grand Hotel, located off of Exit 2 on Hwy. 94 where the dinner theatre is located. The shows begin at 8:00 p.m. There are also three noon lunch matinees available March 31, April 21, and May 12. Cost for dinner, nonalcoholic drink, tip, tax, and show is $52; matinees, $39.
Reservations can be made by calling 715/386-2394 ext. 333 or going online at www.stcroixoffbroadway.com. Stay & Play packages are available also for dinner theatre with a hotel room and breakfast for $169.95/couple.
