Downtown Building Renovation Workshop

To help address the challenges associated with deteriorating downtown buildings, the West Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission is hosting a Downtown Building Renovation Workshop. Two sessions will be held, the first being on Wednesday, June 7th in Owen (Clark County) and the second will be Thursday, June 8th in Clear Lake (Polk County). Participants only need to attend one session which will start at 9am and finish at 3pm. The workshop is $15 to attend and will include lunch.

Information to be discussed will include construction and renovation challenges in older downtown buildings, pro-active steps to address vacant buildings, legal alternatives to address deteriorating and unsafe buildings, and more.
